Reservations must be canceled 48 hours prior to arrival date, otherwise, the guest card is subject to the charge of one night’s room and tax. During special events and holidays, reservations must be canceled 21 days prior to arrival, otherwise, the guest card is subject to a charge of one night’s room and tax. The Advance Purchase Rate, Black Friday & Cyber Monday rates are non-refundable but fully changeable. With our Life Happens® cancellation policy, if you need to cancel within the cancellation window, you will receive a full credit towards a future stay for up to a year. Please note that room rates may change.
The Tides Inn and Cottages guarantees that every hotel reservation booked through our website is guaranteed to have the lowest rate publicly available on the Internet. If you find a rate on another website lower than the lowest available rate on the hotel's official website, for the same room type and dates, rate payment requirements (e.g. full prepayment), and restrictions, we will match it. Book your reservation at www.tidespismobeach.com. Then contact our friendly Guest Services within 24 hours of booking your room and provide all the details. Simple as that! Upon its verification of your claim, the hotel will adjust your rate for the nights for which the lower rate was found. Rooms on the other website must be publicly available and bookable on the Internet at the time of verification. The rates are not valid if they are only published in the text. For the comfort and safety of all guests, The Tides' pet policy includes:
- Please be aware that a non-refundable pet fee of $35 + tax for 1 night and $60 + tax for 2 nights or more in a hotel room will be charged to your account prior to check-out to cover the cost of additional and necessary cleaning in preparation for our next guest. For Cottages the pet fee is $100 + tax per stay and the Beach House pet cleaning fee is $150 + tax per stay.
- Your pet is also our guest. All pets at the hotel must be registered.
- We allow a maximum of two well-behaved dogs.

Yes, Blast & Brew American Eatery and Tap House delivers room service to the hotel rooms and cottages at the Tides and they are open for lunch and dinner 7 days a week. They are located right next door at 2131 Price Street, Pismo Beach. Guests can order room service through the QR code provided in their hotel room or by calling 1-805-295-5151.
